The Story Behind the Sound

Its roots reach back to an earlier era of synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers, and home recording, when musical ideas were created through experimentation, imagination, and a passion for rhythm.

Many of these compositions began as original recordings years before AZUVE became a public music project. Some remained unfinished, preserved as creative sketches waiting for another opportunity to be heard.

Today, those recordings are being revisited and transformed through contemporary production techniques, including AI-assisted music production, while retaining the creative foundation of the original compositions.

The resulting sound draws inspiration from jazz-funk, electro-funk, old-school R&B, neo-soul, hip-hop, and electronic instrumental music.

AZUVE celebrates the connection between musical imagination, technology, and time.
